Featured Artist for March 28-April 3

My featured artist for this week is Kris of LisianBlue, from Alburquerque, New Mexico. This talented artist does amazing handpainted glass, one-of-a-kind ornaments, stained glass treasures, beaded jewelry and beautiful art prints from her photographs of flowers.
Kris has been crafting since she was a young girl, when her grandmother taught her to crochet and knit. She instilled in her to never stop learning. Her mother taught her a love of nature and her father taught her to do whatever she does and to do it well.
Kris has an Artfire shop filled with all her amazing pieces, as well as a blog. But to do her artwork justice, you need to check it out here, and you won't be disappointed.

Featured Artist For March 21-27

The featured artist for this week is Joan Lagerfeld of LTD Beads and Jewelry. It all started for this talented artist with a box in her garage labeled "Joan's Stones", collected as a child. Along the way, her career consisted of Graphic Artist and Typesetter. But she eventually returned to the field she loves-making beaded jewelry.
In addition to her blog, Joan also has shops on Etsy and Artfire.
Here is a sample of her beautiful work:

My latest charm bracelet is a custom design. The customer actually came over and picked the beads and Gemstones out then let me work my magic. What a good eye for color she has! Tell me what you think....
